Republicans, who failed in their first push to impeach President Joe Biden, are renewing calls to impeach him — for making a completely legal decision in the presidency.
“Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) is prepping articles of impeachment against President Biden after he warned that the U.S. will stop supplying offensive weapons to Israel if its forces launch an invasion into Rafah.
Mills, a first-year lawmaker, unveiled his impeachment resolution Thursday, which charges Biden with abuse of power, and he said he plans to “pursue action” Friday.
His announcement on the social platform X came less than 24 hours after Biden, during an interview with CNN, said the U.S. would withhold weapons like bombs and artillery shells from Israel if it ignores U.S. warnings to refrain from a full-scale operation in the southern Gaza city.” [READ MORE]
